I remember it well—it’s a happening that I’ll never forget.

As of 8:00 p.m., March 19, 2020, Pennsylvania’s governor ordered all non-life-sustaining businesses to close their physical locations. Similar orders were issued about the same time, state-by-state, across the United States. Simultaneously, we saw a sudden drop in lack of interest in evangelism and discipleship resources. After all—how can you do ministry if you can’t be with people?

During the height of the COVID crisis, we created an option for you to do “distance evangelism and discipleship.” It’s still available – and will be permanently.

Let’s say you have an unsaved friend who is interesting in possibly becoming a Christian, but he, she, or you do not feel comfortable sitting down together to do a Bible study. Or perhaps your friend lives many miles away from you. There is a way that you can lead your friend through a Story of Hope Bible study and never worry about COVID.

We have enlarged the “Look Inside” images and added images to cover every page in the book so that you can lead an evangelistic Bible study for get-to-know-the-Bible discipleship, even if you can’t meet ministry mentees in person.

The text is probably not readable on a phone’s screen, but you can still ask the questions and lead discussions even on the small screens. But on a desktop or laptop screen, it works well. However, iPads and Android tablets are ideal. Try it and see how it works for you.
